Divest the Mind of Objects
The mind functions both as light and objects. If divested of things the light alone will remain over.

Observe Awareness Steadily
If you observe awareness steadily, this awareness itself as Guru will reveal the truth.

Stream Entry method
Attention moves around on
its own: notice that totally, completely, fully, naturally, just as it is, in
the whole field.
It changes all the time: notice all of that.
There is no such thing as attention, just sensations: know that all the way through.Every quality that implies attention is just more qualities: notice them all without exception until no quality can fool you in this way, as you know it to just be textures, aspects, flavors, colors, sounds, and the like, just sensations, simply sensations.
Everything that appears to be "this side": notice all of that until you are naturally really good at it, every pattern, every familiar and unfamiliar thing.
Everything that appears to be "that side": notice all of that until you are naturally really good at it, every pattern, every familiar and unfamiliar thing.
If you don't have stream entry, you know you have to develop the above further, so do that and keep at it.

Living by the Words of Bhagavan
Better than viewing Him as Other,
Indeed the noblest attitude of all,
Is to hold Him as the `I' within,
The very `I'.
- Upadesa Saram - verse 8.
You are a mature sādhaka. It is not necessary for you to come here any more. Stay in Palakottu and do your meditation there. Try to efface the notion that you are different from God.

Faith in Bhagavan
My life with Bhagavan taught me the value of faith, obedience and surrender. When I obeyed Bhagavan's words, or had complete faith that he would look after all my spiritual and physical needs, everything went well. When I tried to mold my own destiny (such as the time I wen to live in the cave and the time I ran away to Polur) things went badly. Life's lessons have thus taught me the value and the necessity of complete surrender. If one surrenders completely to Bhagavan; if one lives by his words, ignoring all others; if one has enough faith in Bhagavan to stop making plans about the future; if one can banish all doubts and worries by having faith in Bhagavan's omnipotence - then, and only then, Bhagavan will bend and mold one's circumstances, transforming them in such a way that one's spiritual and physical needs are always satisfied.
